In the ladies event the two entries were Diane Fogarty & Rosemary Harford who played the best of two games out of three.  Diane won the first two games to come out the winner.

The men's and women's events were played over the weekend and a high standard of play was evident.

In the women's event Meredith Pottage came out the winner over Kath Steiner 21-14.  Kath played steadily but Merediths experience and consistency won through.

The four semi-finalists in the Men's event were President Rodney, Andre Hudson, Ian Newland and Kevin Maxfield.  Rod got off to a slow start against Andre but made a good recovery in the second half of the game scoring 10 shots to eight before Andre won 23-13.  Ian & Kevin had a good tussle with the score at 16 -18 to Kevin after 19 ends but Kevin scored a four on the 20th & last end for the win.

In the final, Andre was unable to produce his earlier form and Kevin's consistency, particularly with his 1st bowl on most ends,  saw him run out the winner 21-7.
